• Rules of Engagement for TheNetSurfCafe.com.  At TNSC we ask that everyone be considerate of others. All are initially welcome, but if a problem occurs with your membership for offensiveness in ANY way,  you will be first warned. If you do not comply, then you will be terminated from this site. No vulgarity including but not limited to; race, creed, gender, sex, behavior, or ANY other that may be seen as negative for this site or other persons character. This is NOT the place for that. Absolutely NO nudity will be tolerated! We appreciate your participation and value your presence and willingness to share your expertise with the network.
• Please use your best networking etiquette - you wouldn’t walk into a business networking event in the real world and say “Buy my stuff”, and we ask you not to do that here either ;-)...Feel free to to list your services, products, or opportunities in the many places provided for that reason - to get YOU exposure! Be willing to contribute to others first,  and you will find they will contribute back. Here are 4 ways to contribute to others on TNSC and make yourself stand out:
• Step 1. Create a Remarkable Profile -Your profile represents you and your business, so put your best photo and foot forward - Make it yours…add blog posts once in a while - Add at least one other picture that represents your business or product - maybe embed a YouTube video – yours or one you think shares valuable information.
• Step 2. Reach Out and Touch Someone - Make Comments on other member profile pages -Welcome new Members -Introduce yourself in a couple of sentences and ask a question -Leave a link back to your profile page or ask them to visit your profile - Plan to reach out and leave a few comments as you have time! - Remember to use their name, reference their blog, website or industry -Make a friend request when you leave your comment if you aren’t already friends
• Step 3. Invite A Few Friends To Join Us - Remind them that you and your business exist and are thinking of them -You’ll look SO hip - on the cutting-edge of marketing -Having lots of friends makes you look popular and adds street credibility -Then look smart by teaching them to do what you did.
• Step 4. Blog Your Expertise Once In A While -Start your blog off by introducing yourself and your business - Ask a provocative question and invite comments -Share industry expertise -Share opinions about industry news -Comment on other blog posts. ~  Wear professional attire = Completed profile page with professional picture... Work the room = Make a few comments here and there as your time permits.... Establish rapport = Make the comments insightful... Ask for a card = Make a friend request
• DO NOT SPAM YOUR BUSINESS OFFER ~ Extra Credibility Builder: Start a Discussion or Join a Discussion -Start your own discussion by introducing yourself - Answer a discussion post -Leave a signature block at the end of your post ~ Start a Group - Offer to moderate an existing interest group.
• Step 5. Advertising Your Business, Site, or Blog on NSC ~ There are many, many ways and methods to Advertise and get exposure for your site or blog here at TNSC....For any other unanswered Advertising questions, please email CRAIG or one of the Staff with your link so we can look at it, and advise the best methods for your site or blog. - Thanks!
• PLEASE refrain from unsolicited email blast and / or spammy comments and post instead to the Bulletin Board - Add a Blog - Post to the Forum / Discussions - Post your site or Offers in The Cafe' Surf Club - Post in a Group - bottom line is that we try to provide you MANY ways to present your info without being spammy
• PLEASE DO NOT SEND OUT ONGOING COMMENTS TO MEMBERS FOR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR JOIN THIS OR THAT OR YOUR MEMBERSHIP CAN AND WILL BE TERMINATED....
