The fog draped hills of the valley, the fresh snow crowned mountains peeking through the wispy mists. GOLD SPUR #1
DAY 1
Leaving Quartzsite and heading south for 5 miles, then east on a 4x4 road for 15 miles, I managed a top speed of 10 MPH. Arriving at the claim Rosa, my dog, and I set up camp in short order, then setup the Dry Washer by Keene at a random spot. I have no idea where the gold might be. Back in Base Camp I heard a lot of theories as to where the gold might be found. I think it’s more a matter of moving A LOT of material than…
